Full of history and tradition, Altamura takes about 80.000 hectares from Alta Murgia in Puglia's Land.

Because the strategic position of Sea and mountains, Altamura has a feature of particular weather, togheter with an enhanced ventilation with dry summers and rigid winters; this conditions determines the alternating of two seasons, spring and autumn, have the right weather for wheat cultivation with excellent and particular innovative characteristics from wich we get the best Remilled durum wheat, processed by an expert mills that refines the material becoming appropiate for baking.

PRIMOFORNO did that Remilled durum wheat semolina, becomes its main specialty.
